The youngest of three siblings, Cameron's parents had separated before his birth. He grew up with his mother as the main role model, but his father was active in his life until he was about seven, when he passed away from bronchial cancer. After his father's death, the closest male figure he could look up to was his older brother Patrick, who was eight years older than him. He also looked to his sister Kayla as a playmate, since there was only a three year age difference.



Cameron is very sociable and charismatic, and thus was popular in his school years. His sexuality was kept a secret to everyone until he got out of school; this was to prevent harassment from other schoolmates. He had secretly dated a few classmates, though none of them ever told anyone for the sake of facing discrimination themselves. In early middle school he befriended Luke, and the two became very close and reliable friends. Cameron would comfort Luke after his humiliating ordeals in high school because of his sexuality; he was also there for him when Luke confessed the sexual abuse he received from a teacher.



After graduation, Cameron looked to pursue a career in photography, as it was his passion even as a child. He applied to Kajorsky University, a local college that has excelling art majors. Early in his occupation, he met Matsoko at a music store called The Beat. Growing a secret crush on the employee, he visited the store quite often, sometimes not even purchasing anything. But on one faithful day, Matsoko and several of his friends entered The Wild Side to celebrate his birthday; the two immediately recognized each other, causing Cameron to almost call his performance quits. He still pressed on despite his embarrassment, and was even called over to give him a lap dance. Afterwards, Matsoko asked for a VIP with him, were the two began conversing in a semi jokingly manner. He then said to Cameron that he didn't need to do anything with him if he wasn't comfortable, and that he simply got a private room to talk to him. Not thinking of a better time, Cameron admitted he had liked him for a few months, also quietly muttering he wanted to have sex with him. The two did so, afterwards they began dating. Luke is a very mild-mannered and timid person, and has been through his whole life. At an early age he found it difficult interacting with other children without it being dreadfully uncomfortable. In early middle school he had met Cameron, and the two bonded quickly. Cameron had helped Luke to socialize better with other peers, and slowly but surely, Luke began to tolerate strangers more and not shy away as often. But still, he prefers not to interact with most people.

Luke had his first sexual experience in his first year of high school, when he was assaulted by one of his teachers in the restroom. This abuse went on for several months until the teacher was found molesting another student and quickly apprehended. Kahlen was born to very conservative Protestant parents. Over the years of trying to repress his mischievous behavior, Kahlen began to rebel out in his early adolescence; everything his parents told him not to do he did for the sake of pushing their buttons. He began to sleep around with other classmates quite often and would openly express his homosexuality to the dismay of his parents, who frowned on it and tried to make him repent these 'sinful' feelings, to the point where they sent him away to straight camp. After that, Kahlen's relationship with his parents greatly deteriorated, and at age 18 he dropped out of his senior year in college. Along with that, he began to bring boys home and getting involved with heavy drugs. His parents had finally had enough of their uncontrollable son and kicked him out of their house. The two had dated for 3 years, which was the longest relationship either had. Nothing seemed to be going wrong, however one day Kahlen had walked in to catch Gerard sleeping with another male. The two broke up and shortly after, Gerard was offered a modeling career and moved out of state. After Gerard moved away Kahlen was finding it difficult to pay the rent by himself; a few months after the incident he posted an advertisement for a roommate, and a few weeks later Damien moved in. Damien grew up in a very loving nuclear family. Being an only child, his parents did their best to give their attention and help him be successful in his life. Damien excelled at academics and would seldom misbehave or speak out, he was always a perfect student example. He was also popular in high school due to his kind and tolerating nature, however he had never taken a great interest in an active social life and would almost never hang out with his friends outside of school. After he graduated, he parted ways with most of his high school classmates.

Because of his academic achievements, he was offered a scholarship to Duboir University. However, the college was two hours away from his home and would make it difficult to travel to and from the city. He moved out soon after his high school graduation, with the bittersweet feelings of his parents. He moved in to a modest city apartment with Kahlen, a young male cheetah. Despite their opposing personalities, they have managed to get along rather well. Kahlen often makes advances on him, which he will usually decline.

While Damien still retains a seemingly innocent aspect to his character, he is in no way naive. He is proper, well spoken, and culturally sophisticated; though in no means snobby. He is also a bit of an exercise enthusiast; he loves to swim, play team sports, and he rides his bike almost everywhere.
